Frequently Asked Questions About Heat Shrink Machines
They use centrefold shrink film, which is folded in half so the product sits between the layers. Our PVC centrefold film comes in 300mm to 500mm folded widths, so pick a width that suits your product and the machine's maximum reel size.
The SC134 runs on 240V single phase and the Robopac Micra M on 230V single phase. The SC680 needs 415V three phase and the Micra L 400V three phase, so check your site supply before ordering a larger machine.
The sealing area sets the largest pack. For example, the Micra M takes products up to 500 x 380 x 200mm and 15kg, and the Micra L takes up to 800 x 500 x 200mm and 18kg.
Yes. A chamber machine seals the film around the product and then shrinks it inside the hood, so there is no separate heat tunnel or heat gun to buy.
